Hello, My name is Dr. Sharat Vallurupalli. I am a psychiatrist trained in adult and child & adolescent psychiatry. I am board certified in adult psychiatry and in child & adolescent psychiatry. I graduated medical school at East Tennessee State University in 2014. I completed my adult psychiatry training at Albany Medical Center in upstate New York between July 2014 to June 2017. I completed my child and adolescent psychiatry training here at Emory University from July 2017 to June 2019. This was a process that was 13 years in making. I have trained across many settings and populations including inpatient psychiatric facilities, medical hospitals, long term residential units, Veterans Affairs clinics, outpatient clinics, children's hospitals, and university counseling centers. I have additional certification in Somatic Experiencing which is a body based approach to addressing symptoms of PTSD, anxiety, and trauma which was a 5 year process as well. I am available for psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and psychotherapy. My areas of focus are psychotherapy and treating trauma. I am out of network for insurance plans. I will provide a superbill so you can file with your insurance for out of network benefits. My fees are as follows: $360 for a 1.5 to 2 hour evaluation for children and adolescents $270 for a 1 to 1.5 hour evaluation for adults $95 for a 30 minute medication follow up $180 for a 45 minute psychotherapy session I offer a sliding scale fees for my sessions as well.
